Terms of Service
Last updated August 12, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Tutorlot (the “Service”) at tutorlot.com. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The service
Tutorlot is an online tutoring workspace that provides a shared whiteboard, in-browser video and PDF lessons over a single link. The Service is currently offered free of charge. We may add, change or remove features at any time.
Eligibility and accounts
You are responsible for the activity that happens through your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. You agree to provide accurate information. If you use the Service on behalf of a minor (for example as a parent, guardian or tutor), you are responsible for that person’s use of the Service and for obtaining any consent required.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- break any law or infringe anyone’s rights;
- upload or share content that is unlawful, harmful, harassing or that you do not have the right to share;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Service or other users’ data;
- use the Service to send spam or distribute malware.
Your content
You keep ownership of the content you create in a lesson (your drawings, text and files). You grant us a limited licence to host, store and display that content only as needed to operate the Service and sync it between the participants of your lesson. You are responsible for the content you add and for having the rights to share it.
Intellectual property
The Service itself, including the Tutorlot name, logo and software, is owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our branding or software except to use the Service as intended.
Third-party services
The Service integrates third-party providers (such as Google sign-in and email delivery). Your use of those features may also be subject to the third party’s terms and policies.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that any content will be preserved.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tutorlot will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Because the Service is provided free of charge, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service, if any.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service or its users.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where the Tutorlot operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
